The Alliance, Nebraska Senior Center is located at 

212 Yellowstone Avenue, Alliance, NE 69301

It includes the following businesses:

  • Alliance Senior Center which includes the Aging Office of Western Nebraska Nutrition Site 
  • Box Butte County Retired Senior Volunteer Program
  • Aging Office of Western Nebraska Service Coordinator 
  • Monthly onsite visits from Beltone 

Alliance Nebraska Senior Center

The Alliance Nebraska Senior Center offers a wide variety of services to older citizens which include:

  • Congregate Meals 
  • Home Delivered Meals for seniors who are homebound
  • Weekly Activities 

The Alliance Senior Center is funded by The City of Alliance. 

Box Butte County Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)

The Box Butte County RSVP provides a variety of volunteer opportunities within the community for individuals who are over the age of 55. These opportunities enable volunteers to participate more fully in their community through significant volunteer service.   

Box Butte County RSVP is funded by AmeriCorps Seniors 

Meet the Director:

Angie FlesnerHello! I'm Angie Flesner, proud to call Alliance my home for the past 13 years. With a decade of dedicated service to the City of Alliance, my journey began at the Alliance Police Department, where I spent three years as a dispatcher. For the past seven years, I've had the privilege of serving as the RSVP Director at the Senior Center, where I've found immense joy working with seniors and volunteer groups.

Beyond my professional life, I share my life with my committed partner, and we are proud parents to a delightful 5-year-old daughter, and our lively trio of dogs. In my free time, you'll find me embracing the outdoors—whether I'm working out, hiking, or volunteering for causes close to my heart. Creating cherished memories with my family through new adventures is where I find true happiness.

I’m passionate about making a positive impact on the community, both personally and professionally, I'm excited about the journey ahead and the opportunities to continue growing, connecting, and contributing to Alliance.
