First elected in November 1996. Mr. Kusek is beginning his third term which expires in 2008.
Vice Mayor Trent Benzel
Mr. Benzel was elected to his first term in December 2006.
Councilman Jim Dickenson
Mr. Dickenson was elected to his second term in 2004 which expires in 2008.
Councilwoman Lori Rowley
Ms. Rowley was elected to her first term in December 2006.
Councilman Ralph Yeager
Mr. Yeager was elected to his first term in December 2006.
The City Council consists of five members elected at large for four year staggered terms. The council reorganizes every two years, and a mayor is selected by his/her council colleagues.
City Council meetings are held twice per month, typically on the first and third Thursday at 7:00 PM. Meetings are generally held in the School Administration Building at 1604 Sweetwater Ave. or they can be watched live on Channel 6.
Anyone requesting to be on the council agenda must submit a request to the city clerk at least one week prior to the meeting.
Agenda items must be submitted in writing and must pertain to city government issues.
