On Friday, April 13th, 2007 at approximately 9:38 AM, unknown person or persons called in a Bomb Threat to the Law Enforcement Center. This threat caused the evacuation of all the schools within the City of Alliance. The Alliance Police Department are following several leads on the case. At the same time we would like the assistance of the public with any information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of the suspect making the bomb threat. On Saturday, May 7, 2005 at approximately 5:16 am, the Alliance Police Dept. received a call from a citizen who observed smoke coming from the Sallows Military Museum located in the 1100 block of Niobrara. |

The Alliance Fire Department has estimated that there was a loss to the structure in the amount of $100,000 and damage or loss of property of $150,000. The Alliance Police Dept. is working in conjunction with the State Fire Marshal to investigate this fire which is suspicious in nature. |
